What We Do

A breakdown of our club structure!

Our entire studio located at Trafalgar Campus is wheelchair accessible and health & safety inspected each month, ensuring a comfortable and inclusive experience for all artists. Accessible washrooms are also located nearby.

Open Studio Time


Price Range: No entrance fee

Only need to pay for weight of clay used

Open to: Members-only (No Registration Needed)

When: Twice A Week

This is your dedicated time to work independently, practice techniques, and complete your projects at your own pace.


Practice & Production:

Open Studio is available for all members, offering access to pottery wheels, large work tables for hand-building, and all necessary tools.


Resource Access:

Use our specialized equipment, including various glazes and kiln space for firing your finished pieces (details on firing fees and procedures are available to members).


Flexible Scheduling:

Open Studio sessions are held twice a week during convenient evening hours to accommodate different schedules.

Workshops


Price Range: $10-$15
Open to: Members-only (Must Register to Attend)

When: Bi-Weekly

Designed for both the total beginner and the advanced ceramicist, our workshops focus on developing specific skills in a guided setting.


Skill-Based Learning:

Workshops alternate between fundamental techniques (e.g., centring clay, coiling, glazing basics) and more advanced topics (e.g., altered forms, surface decoration).


Experienced Guidance:

Sessions are led by experienced student leaders or local artists, providing hands-on instruction and personalized feedback.


Creative Focus:

This is the perfect environment to try a new technique without the pressure of a full academic course.


Community Events


Price Range: Free to $15
Open to: Members and Non-Members

When: Once A Month

These events are the heart of our community. They are designed to bring members together, foster friendships, and celebrate the season.


Social Making Sessions:

We host informal gatherings focused on communal creation, where members can work on projects while connecting with peers and sharing advice in a low-pressure environment, often accompanied by complimentary refreshments.


Club Community Builders

Provides opportunities for social, non-studio gatherings, including events like movie nights, themed holiday parties (Halloween, Christmas), or simple hangouts designed solely for bonding, decompression, and enjoying the club atmosphere.
