This is your dedicated time to work independently, practice techniques, and complete your projects at your own pace.
Open Studio is available for all members, offering access to pottery wheels, large work tables for hand-building, and all necessary tools.
Use our specialized equipment, including various glazes and kiln space for firing your finished pieces (details on firing fees and procedures are available to members).
Open Studio sessions are held twice a week during convenient evening hours to accommodate different schedules.
Designed for both the total beginner and the advanced ceramicist, our workshops focus on developing specific skills in a guided setting.
Workshops alternate between fundamental techniques (e.g., centring clay, coiling, glazing basics) and more advanced topics (e.g., altered forms, surface decoration).
Sessions are led by experienced student leaders or local artists, providing hands-on instruction and personalized feedback.
This is the perfect environment to try a new technique without the pressure of a full academic course.
These events are the heart of our community. They are designed to bring members together, foster friendships, and celebrate the season.
We host informal gatherings focused on communal creation, where members can work on projects while connecting with peers and sharing advice in a low-pressure environment, often accompanied by complimentary refreshments.
